It's time for good fast food.
I’m on a mission to bring healthy fast food to the high street and travel markets. Not “healthy” like the food pyramid; healthy like what our ancestors ate: no seed oils, no gluten, no refined sugar. Animal fat & meat, root vegetables, and whole fruits.
The plan
Provide a healthy & satisfying alternative to current quick-service restaurant options, using simple whole food ingredients inspired by hunter-gatherer diets. Take advantage of simple recipes & hot buffet take-away format to enable fast service and high order volumes, and scale quickly.
I’m currently planning to raise the startup funds via a crowdfunding campaign, offering backer-only lifetime discount cards as rewards.
Progress
I’ve spent the past 6 months refining the concept & menu; researching the catering industry (including working as a kitchen porter at a local restaurant); gaining my Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety for Catering; validating the recipes and food boxes with real-world tests; and writing a business plan & pitch deck.
